The things we post online are increasingly designed to disappear.

Stories vanish. Feeds move on. Old posts get buried beneath thousands of newer ones.

A personal website can be different.

You can write something today and leave it there. Someone might find it next week, next year, or ten years from now.

There's something comforting about making things that aren't designed to disappear.
