Just write something

The harder you make a post feel, the easier it is to put off writing it.

When every post has to be polished, substantial and worth sharing, even a small idea can start to feel like a commitment. You might have something you want to say, but decide to save it for later when you have the time to do it properly.

That pressure adds up. Writing becomes something you do occasionally rather than something you do regularly.

Taking a lighter approach makes it easier to keep going. A few sentences don't need to become an essay, and not every thought needs to be turned into something definitive. Sometimes it's enough to write it down and move on.

Write when you have something to say. Don't worry too much about whether it's enough.
