We've become very good at turning everything we do online into content.
A photograph becomes a post. A thought becomes a thread. A collection of links becomes a newsletter. Everything needs a headline, an image, a hook and a reason for someone to click.
It's easy to forget that the internet can be a place to simply put things.
A blog post doesn't have to educate anyone, build an audience or establish your expertise. It can be an observation you don't want to forget, something you found interesting, or an idea you're still figuring out.
Not everything needs to be content. Sometimes it's just something you wanted to write down.
